Our Projects

We are enlarging our community commitment to include a little more space for all our great mountain activities.  We have purchased the adjoining lot next to the Conservancy garage. Our hope is that it will add more possibilities and enjoyment to our community. Please lend your support with a donation to our non-profit.  It will be yours to enjoy for many years to come!

Nelson Falls RV Park, Cabins and Campground is open.  Please encourage friends and family to visit.  Every reservation provides income to the John M. Nelson Conservancy and funds local community projects.

The Mountain Festival is a two-day event held in Camp Nelson California the first weekend in August.  There is entertainment for the entire family and admission is free.  The festival is held at the Camp Nelson Meadow in the Giant Sequoia National Monument.
