Our Projects

1/1/2026  We are enlarging our community commitment to include a little more space for all our great mountain activities.  We have purchased the adjoining lot next to the Conservancy garage. Our hope is that it will add more possibilities and enjoyment to our community. Please lend your support with a donation to our non-profit.  It will be yours to enjoy for many years to come!

1/1/2025  The Board has completed the purchase of an adjoining property which will add additional open space, a BBQ patio, and a public use restroom to our facility.

1/1/2022  Camp Nelson RV Park, Cabins and Campground is open.  Please encourage friends and family to visit. The RV Park is leased to an owner/operator, Trudy Valenzuela and every reservation provides income to the John M. Nelson Conservancy and funds local community projects.  

The John M. Nelson Conservancy is a nonprofit focused on community and environmental stewardship and does not operate lodging or commercial accommodations.
